2017 featured two moments for THE LATE LATE SHOW that deserved a full week of shows and the web became the place to celebrate with fans.

THE LATE LATE SHOW GOES TO LONDON

THE LATE LATE SHOW digital team went international for a week, heading to London with the production. From James giving the first look of the studio (left) to the Dame Judi Dench challenge (which she eventually played), fans back in the states had an All-Access pass to the week abroad.

HARRY STYLES TOOK OVER TELEVISION CITY

One of the show's biggest events of the year was having Harry Styles join the production for a week, performing tracks off his new album and shooting comedy with James. To announce the big week, we captured the moment Harry suggested he spend some time with his old pal in Los Angeles.

In addition to serving up the biggest and best moments from
THE LATE LATE SHOW, the digital team works with James and his staff to create LATE LATE SHORTS — inspired by the comedy of the show.

Highlights this year include:

The Nate Nate Show

LATE LATE SHOW writer Nate Fernald got tired of just writing the jokes, he also wanted to perform them. With James' "blessing," he launched his own hit show.

James Corden Walking Tours

The show's week in London introduced the world to Ensworth Plankwhistle, the world's only James Corden walking tour guide. Watch Einsworth's descent into madness as he explains unique insights into the legend that is James Corden .

Play Button Is Diamond

After becoming only the third TV show to cross 10M subscribers on YouTube, James thanked the fans with a remix of Rihanna's "Diamonds" music video and showed off his new diamond Play Button.

Nate That Tune

One series with Nate Fernald and a punny title wasn't enough, so we created a twisted version of "Name That Tune." It took some time for Weezer to recognize their own music played by an amateur.

We'Re SO K-POPPY

THE LATE LATE SHOW is lucky enough to welcome a variety of unique celebrity voices to the show, each with equally unique fan bases. The digital team works to engage with those fans in their preferred dialect, rather than in the traditional voice of the show.

BTS

When K-pop megastars BTS visited the show, their highly-engaged fanbase, the A.R.M.Y., flooded the show's Twitter timeline. The digital team interacted with their memes and internet slang.

Poppy

Poppy is one of this year's best phenomenons on YouTube and a favorite of our staff. She came on the show to perform her hit song "Interweb," but the digital team also convinced her to let James into her world for a web-exclusive video.

WE'LL DO IT LIVE!

THE LATE LATE SHOW has embraced live-streaming with a variety of  Facebook Live videos this year. From covering award shows to staging standup comedy shows in our kitchen, the digital team loves to DO IT LIVE!

Kitchen Scraps!

LATE LATE SHOW writers craft dozens of jokes every week, but only a few make it into the show's monologue. The best of the rest make it into our livestream, where the writers perform their favorite leftovers in the staff kitchen.

The GRAMMYs

When James Corden hosted the 2017 GRAMMY AWARDS, LATE LATE SHOW's digital team was there all week to capture everything behind-the-scenes and then the live action on the red carpet.

Hot Shot Madness

During March Madness, the show staff went so basketball crazy that they staged an office tournament. Whoever sunk the most waste paper in the trashcans won, while the losers had to eat a ghost pepper.
